• Compared our application to competitors and social media companies
• Streamlined the Send Recognition form so it requires fewer steps and is easier to complete
• Updated Activity Feed cards to be more compact so more information could be on screen at one time

Key successes:
• Registration is faster and easier than before; users get logged out less frequently
• Activity feed features sleeker cards, micro-interactions, and slide-up dialogues for easier engagement
• Smaller cards allow for more information to be on the screen at one time
• Send Recognition form is contained to one screen instead of a multi-step wizard

Older designs are shown on the left. The new Activity Feed is shown on the right and features streamlined cards and Send Recognition banner to show more cards on the screen at any time. Scrolling down in the feed hides the header and footer to maximize the user's view. An upward scrolling motion will bring the header and footer back - allowing the user to quickly navigate to other portions of the app or easily access their profile from the user menu.
The app randomly assigns a banner background to each Recognition, adding visual interest to the Activity Feed.
Users can easily add and see all comments and high fives to Recognitions via slide-ups that can be expanded or minimized based on preference.
The new Send Recognition form is streamlined to make sending Recognitions even easier than before. Users can add multiple recipients, write a message with a GIF, and choose values and Core Values quickly and easily. A success animation fills the screen and refreshes the feed with the newly sent Recognition appearing at the top.
Users can now register for WorkTango directly on their phones. The mobile registration and login process allows mobile-first customers to access employee experience benefits without sitting at a desk. The process has been updated to give users a biometric option, making logins fast and secure.
