Challenge:
• Improve the existing Incentives suite to make it more robust and more powerful
Process
In close collaboration with PM:
• Ideated on new features to help make Incentives more fun and easier to use
• Surveyed and interviewed customers to gauge interest on new features ideas
• Designed several rounds worth of user-flows and page layouts until final ideas were approved
• Beta-tested multiple working prototypes with customers to see what was hard to use and what was loved

Key successes:
• Design improvements on the Incentives page make the module seem more sleek and modern
• Cards in Activity Feed are smaller, giving more space to Recognitions (requested during interviews)
• Catalog owner and moderator roles/permissions give company admins opportunity to delegate tasks
• Claim cap, frequency limit, and scheduling tools help companies stay on top of budget concerns
• Moderation process reworked to provide more transparency and communication to employees
• Incentive templates help companies roll out a robust offering without any additional work
• Image gallery allows admin to pick from a preset collection instead of searching for a perfect graphic
• Ability to claim an Incentive from the Activity Feed helps with adoption of new/promoted Incentives

The All Incentives tab on the library page allows Admins to see every Incentive in their company's instance (including active, disabled, scheduled, and draft statuses). The Catalogs tab allows the Admin to review category organization and employees who run each catalog.



Admins can create a new Incentive from a blank starting point or utilize the templates page where WorkTango has prepared inspiration to help round out company catalogs.

Catalogs allow the Admin to easily restrict employee access to department-specific Incentives and assign catalog owner and moderator roles to delegate tasks and responsibilities.
Catalog features:
• Customizing access can ensure that only the Sales department can claim Sales-specific Incentives
• The "owner" role can create new Incentives for a catalog, "moderator" role can review employee claims
• These new roles and permissions help the Admin delegate tasks and save time

Requiring employees to submit proof with an Incentive claim serves multiple purposes:
1. The Admin can ensure that employees have taken the proper actions to deserve the point reward
2. Admins can collect information (social event photos, charities employee support, etc)

Moderation features
• Transparent process for denying claims - informing the user of why the claim was denied
• Bulk approve claims if submission proof is more for company information and less about budget
• Owner and Moderator role can see submissions for their specific catalog and review or deny

For employees, the Incentives page has been redesigned to make it feel more modern and easier to use.
Employee experience features:
• Find Incentives by searching by name and filtering by category, date created, or Incentive value
• Claim Incentives either on the Incentives page or by clicking a claim card on the Activity Feed
• Variety of claim modal options to convey requirements and information to the end user
